Thanks to whomever bright this to share at tasting. Poured into DL snifter...
A- Nice clear brown color with small light colored head. Bubbly and effervescent in appearance. Definitely nothing like an IPA or CDA.
S- Woow! Grassy and citrusy! Reminds of the hop profile of Heady Topper. So fucking awesome. Caramel malt background with a touch of toastiness in the nose.
T/M- Great balance. Not quite as hoppy as nose alludes. Toasty and sweet brown malts with floral, grassy, fruity hops. Flavor of fresh grass clippings and grapefruit with tropical hints. Great body, medium light with lively carbonation.
O- Very pleased! I'm not the biggest CDA fan, I really trend to be hit or miss, more likely miss. This however was very well done. Hop flavor may have been held back for what these brewers can accomplish, but still a great refreshing beer. Would get this by the 6pack if price and availability allowed.

12 oz bottle received as an extra. Can't recall from whom, sorry...
Body is opaque brown with a huge frothy tan head. A little muddy, or I might have rated higher here.
Nose is crisp, clean hops, with a musty maltiness on the finish.
Flavor immediately blows away the memory of a muddy appearance. This is a crisp, clean citrusy/ piney IPA. As a big fan of both the Alchemist and Stone, I get hop character from both brewery's characteristic styles. (Can't say about Ninkasi). Malt contribution is here, but not in a big way. I expected less hops and more malt, given the style and the age of this brew, but it just isn't so.
Mouthfeel is medium, high carb, and lightly tooth-stripping.
Overall, a very nice brew. This one sat around my on-deck fridge for far too long, but was still a great contribution to a quiet Sunday afternoon.
