A-Dark opaque brown body with some reddish hints at the right angle of light. Small cream colored head that quickly dissipated.
A- Upon opening the bottle you get hit with a wonderfully hoppy aroma. With it comes some dark sweet malt aromas.
T- Very bitter up front and throughout. Towards the end you get a bit more malt flavor. Dark fruits and quite a bit of roastiness. Overall the hops dominate the flavor.
M- Medium body, moderate carbonation. Smooth, but there is a definite bite to it.
D- Quite an enjoyable brew. Smells/tastes very complex at first. Very good implementation of a Black IPA.
