Pours a hazy mahogany color with a pillowy, off-white head that leaves bits of lacing.
Smells of piny hops with a bit of malt sweetness.
Tastes a nice wave of hops with a decent malt base. Hops lead off with pine, citrus, and some grass. Moderately bitter. Malts come in with some brown sugar and a bit of chocolate. Touches of dark fruit also comes through as it warms. Slightly sweet and finishes fairly dry.
Mouthfeel is medium-full with a smooth amount of carbonation.
Overall, the individual flavors of this beer are good, but I do not particularly like this combination. That combined with price ($3.27 for 12 oz) gives it only an average grade.
