Cask to 4 oz taster
App- Looks just a nice barleywine. A small bit of red, with some yellows intermixed. The engine adds a nice bit of bubbles, that feel quickly. A small pond layer remains.
Smell- Very small amounts of cherry with rich and thick malts and a lot of citrus behind it. I don't get a lot of the Bastard in it, but far from with more fruits.
Taste- I enjoyed the creaminess behind this beer. A good bit of malts with a cherry and wood note. Its not boozy at all.
Mouth- A low medium body from the cask and then had a pretty vibrant medium carbonation. Lots of creamy oak and cherry notes.
Drink- This was pretty good. A suprise cask that they did for the event so I had to get it. I would love another shot at this one.
Serving type: cask
