Bottle into a tulip glass. Pours a glowing orange with a lovely, foamy off-white head. About a dinner width that disappears about halfway through leaving nice rings of lace. Smells of citrus, pine and some malt. Hops lead the way in the nose, no surprise. Taste is grapefruit, more citrus, orange peel and floral hops. Plenty of malt to balance out the bite from the hops. Medium-full body, playful carbonation, a bit sticky and syrupy but still above average. A great DIPA from Stone. Expected let's balance from a high octane Ruination, but far exceeds expectations of the style. Will definitely get more if available.
