This one pours a light bodied bright orange gold in color with a one finger white, sticky, frothy head. The nose is bright and super citrusy with a moderate amount of pine and alcohol. It's obviously very fresh. The Citra and Centennial hops are in your face. The flavors are hop atomic bombs. Citra everywhere. Centennial everywhere. Unfortunately there is plenty of alcohol but the ridiculous hop levels are welcome. The longer I sip this beer I get a trace of onion in the aftertaste. That and the alcohol are the only turn offs I see. This is a quality DIPA, yet perhaps overdone. I wonder what it would be like if it was 100% Citra, but who wouldn't? It has a lot f flavor but the booziness knocks the drinkability. It was worth the $10.99.
