22 oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
A- Clear dark orange, nice fluffy white head.
S- Earthy hops with a slight caramel malty backend.
T- The hops really hit you. Balanced this beer is not (although who expects an IIPA to be balanced?!). It took me a few sips to start enjoying this, the first couple were overwhelmed with bitterness. Eventually I got some earthy, floral hops with some citrus on the back and front ends.
M- Nice creamy medium body. Great carbonation.
O- A good solid IIPA. I don't think it quite deserves the praise it gets due to it's complete lack of balance. While 'bitter' is a flavor, I hoped for more complexity.
