A: Slightly hazy burnt orange with a bubbly off white head. Spotty lacing.
S: Lots of dank, sticky, pungent hop notes. Tons of grapefruit, pine, citrus and a bit of tropical fruits. A huge does of sweet malt
T: Just like the nose. Tons of pungent, sticky hops. Sweet grapefruit, pine and a bit of citrus are the most noticeable. It has a massive sweet malt backbone that plays very well with the incredible amount of hops that are in here. A touch of residual alcohol. Long bitter and sweet finish that lasts.
M: Medium to fuller body. Average carbonation. Smooth.
O: For being such a huge hop monster, this has pretty damn good drinkability. I like this a lot better than normal Ruination. Just like other Stone beers, I like when they get higher in alcohol since they all have that great malt backbone that I enjoy and this one probably has the best of the bigger Stone beers I've had.
