Pours out slightly hazy yellow/amber with 1/2 finger of white suds. Some lacing here and you can tell this is a 10%er.
Aroma is sticky pine/floral hop and mango/grapefruit and a slight alcohol tinge. There is a hint of alcohol also.
Taste is very bitter at first but as it warms you get a mango/pine initial flavor then the bitter hop hits and overwhelms the palate. Too bad the mango/grapefruit couldn't stick around some more. Some alcohol here.
The mouthfeel is very clean and dry as the brew makes its way down the throat. The aftertaste is bitter hop and some sugar malt holding on for quite a while.
Overall this one is slightly higher than the 4 I gave it but not more than 4.25 which is where I would put this nice big IPA.
