beautiful clear golden amber with a massive fluffy and rocky white head that very quickly dissipates leaving both sheets and gobs of lacing.
smells super citrussy, with some serious grapefruit notes and a bit of orange as well, very zesty. heavy smell of caramel on the back end.
tastes super citrussy, with more grapefruit and orange and perhaps a bit of lemon. super bitter finish, almost no malt in the taste but a touch of honey and caramel can be detected as well as a fairly grainy character.
mouthfeel is a bit dry and prickly with a medium body and a very dry finish.
great beer, an excellent homage to ruination.
