Hazy amber orange color with a thick two finger head with good retention.
Aroma of slightly toasted malts, caramel and citric hops. A bit less intense that I initially expected.
Intense bitter flavor with strong notes of pine, grapefruits, pepper and lemon zest. Dry and bitter aftertaste, not as long as usual for Stones.
Medium to full body with good carbonation. Alcohol is harmonic.
Excellent DIPA, but I found regular Ruination better. Maybe due to the fact that expectation is a bitch, or the more robust body was not proportionally compensated on the hop side. Don’t get me wrong, still a wonderland for us hop heads.
