Serving Type - 22oz bottle
Appearance - Golden tan/yellow with a creamy 1 inch head and lots of foamy lacing.
Smell - Lemon , orange, pineapple, lots of floral hops. Some yeasts and a little malt backbone. Major hops up front.
Taste - FIrst sip you get the lemon, thick, oily resin mixed with tropcal fruits. Lots of sugary yeasts, some minor caramel malts and alcohol warmth. I also get alot of orange and pineapple. A bit grassy/farmhouse like finish.
Mouthfeel - Mouth gets hop coated along with the lemon oils, leaving a resin on tounge. Palate gets tons of hops and lemon, along with the alcohol warmth. Aftertaste is dry, semisweet and bitter.
Overall - Interesting ipa. I really enjoy the unique flavor profile of this. I look at it like this, its a anniversary beer, something special, different not same old dipa. I enjoyed this, its easy to drink for being so strong, and im already looking forward to next years release. Try it out if you get a chance.

08/22/12 On tap. To me most IPAs are too aggressive. This an exception. It's well balanced as to it's bitterness & the respectable hoppyness. It got a kick with a little burn. Appears to be brewed with me in mind and not the brewers bragging rights. Sue me, but I'll say it anyway...it's got great grownup characteristics.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 22 oz bottle into a tulip glass. The label lists the abv at 10 % and there is a nice discretion of the beer.
Appearance: The beer has a deep honey amber color with a slight haze. It builds a tall just off white head on top which hangs on well and clings to the glass making lots of cool lacing.
Smell: The aroma is full of loads of bright lemony citrus and well...hops. (Classic Stone IPA)
Taste / Palate: The flavor is full of hops from start to finish. First up are the citrus and tropical notes with a spicy malty bready base. This fades into herbal and pine like hop notes with slow fading bitterness in the finish.
Notes: Hang on to the hops roller coaster its going to be a bitter good ride.
