Pours a beautiful sunset orange into my DFH glass. Chewy, foamy, white head billows atop this crystal clear copper brew. Not as much carbonation as I expected. The head fades rather quickly but leaves gobs of sticky lacing all over the glass.
Overripe pineapple, lots of yellow grapefruit, orange peel, touches of mango, dried compost and pine needles. Little bits of skunky weed, but mostly and mix of tropical fruit with a citrus punch. I had the last batch on tap and I remember the smell being much more intense.
Lotsa pine, grapefruit rind/pith, mango and pineapple. Really nice blend of citrus bitter and tropical sweetness. Not outstanding by any means, but very nice.
Really nice, but nowhere near a perfect blend of citrus/pine/caramel/tropical. Bitter enough, but still lets the fruit shine thru.
I'm not overly impressed with this IIPA. At $16/4-pack it's not at all worth it IMHO. I'll take Resin or Big A over this anyday of the week! Not bad, but not at all worth it either. Get on the hype train.
