22oz, bottled 11/16/12 (drank on 11/29/12)
Hill Farmstead wine glass
A: Pours a beautifully clear light orange color. Lots of carbonation. Forms a faint thin head of bright white that fades quickly.
S: Tons of bright fruity hop aromas that I smelled as soon as I popped the top. Mango. Papaya. Some grapefruit. Also some piney notes.
T: Hop bitterness on the tip of the tongue. Getting those delicious fruity hops that were on nose. Bitter grapefruit. Mango. Orange pith. It's a big hop bomb, but in the back of the palate there is some balancing malts. Dry crisp hoppy finish. Lingering hop flavors dance in your mouth. Not boozy but as first beer I sort of feel it. Tastes lighter than 9%.
M: Medium bodied. Nice bitter mouth coat.
