You have in your hands a devastatingly fresh double IPA. While freshness is a key component of many beers - especially big, citrusy, floral IPAs - we've taken it further, a lot further, in this IPA. You see, we specifically brewed it NOT to last. We've not only gone to extensive lengths to ensure that you're getting this beer in your hands within an extraordinarily short window, we made sure that the Enjoy By date isn't randomly etched in tiny text somewhere on the label, to be overlooked by all but the most attentive of retailers and consumers. Instead, we've sent a clear message with the name of the beer itself that there is no better time than right now to enjoy this IPA.

Enjoy By 07/4/14

Poured from a 22oz. bomber into a tulip glass.

A- Pours a medium gold with a two finger white head that dissipates slowly. Great amount of clarity for such a hop loaded beer.

S- This beer smells like every hop in existence, and i think that's what the use. It smells like yo just stuck your face in a bag of hops. Dank pine, citrus, tropical fruits, and stone fruits all in perfect balance. Not really getting any of the onion that I've gotten from other batches.

T- Get mostly pine and then tropical and citrus. Very light malt presence detected on the finish. A lingering bitterness that is not too much.

O- An excellent DIPA and one of Stone's best brews. Each batches seems only slightly different and this one is fantastic. Any type of hop aroma and flavor is accounted for, expect maybe floral notes. i try to seek out at least one bottle or glass of every batch we get in my area, you should too.

22 oz bottle was poured into a snifter. Best by 7/4/14.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a pale orange color with great clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.

Smell: Super notes of tropical, citrus, grassy, resiny pine, and herbal hops. All followed by caramel and some toasted malts.

Taste: Same as above with mild tingly bitterness and slight hint of alcohol.

Mouthfeel: Smooth, balanced, very mild bitterness,

Overall: Wow. Top Notch Superb beer. Nuf ced.
