You have in your hands a devastatingly fresh double IPA. While freshness is a key component of many beers - especially big, citrusy, floral IPAs - we've taken it further, a lot further, in this IPA. You see, we specifically brewed it NOT to last. We've not only gone to extensive lengths to ensure that you're getting this beer in your hands within an extraordinarily short window, we made sure that the Enjoy By date isn't randomly etched in tiny text somewhere on the label, to be overlooked by all but the most attentive of retailers and consumers. Instead, we've sent a clear message with the name of the beer itself that there is no better time than right now to enjoy this IPA.

Pours from the growler a orange hay color. Looks somewhat clear but viscus. Lacing is pretty nice as the one finger head dissipates. Great looking beer and very inviting.

Smell really sets this off. Tropical, pine and grapefruit, with melon and slightly sweet caramel notes.

Tastes of a tropical fruit and piney/peppery note mixed with a subtle herbal quality. Fantastic notes of pineapple, grapefruit, grass, and what I believe to be a slight peppery saison feel. Mouthfeel is almost perfect with it's fair amount of carbonation and sweet viscosity. The roundness keeps this from being overly drinkable for the abv.

Overall, this is one of the best double IPA's on the market. And the fact it's label alone keeps it fresh is great.

A - pours a crystal clear golden color. Massive amount of thick mouse like white foam. Leaves decent amounts of lacing as it slowly dissipates.

S - aroma is intense and just teaming with hops. Strong notes of lemon rind and zest along with hemp oil. Candied orange peel, grapefruit and pineapple follow while a background of grass, flowers, and toasty bread round out the nose.

T - light crusty bread flavor up front which is quickly demolished by strong rindy bitterness. The bitterness of grapefruit rind is balanced by fleshy orange pulp notes. Floral flavors on the backend with more grapefruit bitterness which linger long past the finish.

M - crisp, lighter-medium bodied. High, bubbly carbonation emphasizes the crisp character.

O - This is a fantastic DIPA. It just hits all the high notes for me. It might just be how fresh it is but this is going down as one of the best DIPAs i have ever drank.

Bomber

I have very little to say about this beer except that it was nothing special. Average beer at most and that I have plenty of better options available year round.

A- pours a murky golden color with a thin head with almost no lacing.

S-musty? Pine and resin. Pineapple and gasoline. A mix of things that do not mix well together.

T-complete pine and resin simcoe bomb. I can't taste anything else.

M-for what it's worth this is a smooth beer. Easy going down, creamy and drinkable.

O-I am glad to have tried this but I guess I was expecting something a little better. The flavor was just nothing unique. If you are going to give a beer so much hype and it's own website it needs to deliver something unique. This reminded me of a slightly more piney weyerbacher double simcoe.
