You have in your hands a devastatingly fresh double IPA. While freshness is a key component of many beers - especially big, citrusy, floral IPAs - we've taken it further, a lot further, in this IPA. You see, we specifically brewed it NOT to last. We've not only gone to extensive lengths to ensure that you're getting this beer in your hands within an extraordinarily short window, we made sure that the Enjoy By date isn't randomly etched in tiny text somewhere on the label, to be overlooked by all but the most attentive of retailers and consumers. Instead, we've sent a clear message with the name of the beer itself that there is no better time than right now to enjoy this IPA.

Aroma: Citrus and slight vegetal hop matter. Light tropical fruit, bright and zingy. Some sweetness and almost a buckwheat honey character.

Appearance: Deep gold to almost copper color. Huge white head with tight bubbles. Brilliant.

Flavor: Slightly sweet at first but not much, fading quickly to a dry middle and finish. Borderline astringent end, but manages to stay drinkable. Some light caramel malt notes, but not actually sweet. I do get a orange pith flavor and strong bitterness. Some muscat grape as it warms.

Overall: Very drinkable due to dryness but lacks a certain balance that I have found in my top examples.

Poured into a tulip. Crystal clear golden orange with a finger of head.

Scent of dry piney hops, as per ushe, and a hint of sweetness that's tough to describe.

Different kind of bitterness here. More orange than grapefruit. Can't put my finger on it, maybe it's those New Zealand hops. Not as bitter as anticipated. Actually a tiny bit sour, interesting. A bit let down by the bitterness, but it makes up for it with the complexity of it. The more I drink of it the more orange I'm getting. Gets better as it warms.

Thin and drinkable with an aftertaste that hits periodically after the sip.

Overall a solid IPA, not in my top 10, but earns points for surprising me with something different in an IPA.
