You have in your hands a devastatingly fresh double IPA. While freshness is a key component of many beers - especially big, citrusy, floral IPAs - we've taken it further, a lot further, in this IPA. You see, we specifically brewed it NOT to last. We've not only gone to extensive lengths to ensure that you're getting this beer in your hands within an extraordinarily short window, we made sure that the Enjoy By date isn't randomly etched in tiny text somewhere on the label, to be overlooked by all but the most attentive of retailers and consumers. Instead, we've sent a clear message with the name of the beer itself that there is no better time than right now to enjoy this IPA.

Great overall double IPA. Definitely one of our favorites. We highly recommend this beer to the fellow DoubleIPA enthusiast. We've managed to get our hands on every bottle shipped to southern California since 12.21.12 and on tap at our local craft bar. Cheers!

Poured this 22 oz bottle into a Sam Adams glass. Consumed well before "Enjoy By" date. The body was light honey colored and clear. The white head left webby lacing in the glass. Very pretty.

The smell was catty and vanilla? Earthy and spicy. Pine and citrus. Later, as it warmed it became more pungent.

The taste was tropical fruits and grapefruit pith bitterness. Well hidden alcohol. Mild sweet oranges. Really a perfect DIPA for me. The higher alcohol makes it less than easy to drink but it is oh so tasty.

The mouthfeel was actually thinner than I expected but there was adequate carbonation and it starts off rather creamy. I have gone through several of these and will pick it up anytime I see this one available.
