pour is a tangerine tinted gold. Nice a clear. Finger of white head fading quickly, but lots of lovely lacing.
Nose is everything I could ever want in a DIPA. Sticky, citrus sweetness with that lovely hint of pine. Really quite perfect.
Taste is just as incredible. Citrus forward, with grapefruit, mango, and honey with a lovely floral component. Follows by perfect hoppy bitterness, with lovely pine resin stank.
Mouth feel is pretty spot on, but just a tad thinner than I would want to go along with the flavors.
Awesome beer. So fresh and clean. If Stone keeps doing this, it's worth buying every time.
So glad it's back in ct! Beautiful pour. Nose is soo insanely juicy. Mango. Tangerine. Cantaloupe. Flavor is super citrusy up front but bigger hop on the end. Seems a little more dry and less sticky than my last batch. Regardless, heavenly.

Saw this and grabbed it immediately. Been a while since I've reviewed anything from Stone.
Pours a bright gold with a huge white head into my glass. It looks like it would tingle the taste buds and probably more.
Grassy and full of citrus notes from the hops. West coast! The only other thing I can think of that's hoppier than this is Heady.
Wow. Very pleasant and bursting with juicy hop goodness. Citrus, pine, etc. Mango? Either way, it doesn't disappoint in the hops dept.
Lingering grassy, citrus and pine flavors. Like freshly-mowed grass. Very fresh too. I assume it's the 2nd most recent batch (bottle says 4/12/13).
Stone should keep doing this with limited batches of beer. It might make more sense and cut back on the beer that lingers on shelves for months. They have the beer dating thing down pat and detailed info on the batches.
