Notes/Commercial Description:
Listing for all Stone Enjoy By xx.xx.xx IPA beers.

You have in your hands a devastatingly fresh double IPA. While freshness is a key component of many beers - especially big, citrusy, floral IPAs - we've taken it further, a lot further, in this IPA. You see, we specifically brewed it NOT to last. We've not only gone to extensive lengths to ensure that you're getting this beer in your hands within an extraordinarily short window, we made sure that the Enjoy By date isn't randomly etched in tiny text somewhere on the label, to be overlooked by all but the most attentive of retailers and consumers. Instead, we've sent a clear message with the name of the beer itself that there is no better time than right now to enjoy this IPA.

Appearance- Super clear pale orange, great head retention with plenty of laceing
Smell- Huge hop blast before you even get your nose to the glass, the smell is incredible, huge cascade citrus, a little pine, somewhat candylike sweetness. not malty at all
Taste- amazing dry hop flavor up front, very citrusy and fruity, a pleasantly strong bitterness that is very intense but not crushing, malt is pretty laid back and does just enough to support the hops with a pleasant grainy flavor. warming alcohol comes through in the end.
mouthfeel- good carbonation
Overall- This beer is incredible, it drinks as easy as a single ipa, but packs a hop punch that is amazingly intense and yet not too bitter.

32oz growler from Hop City (Atlanta, GA). 9.49. Enjoy by 4/1/13. Served in a pint glass.

Pours clear golden yellow with a full fluffy two fingers of white head that laces well.

Nose is a blast of hoppy goodness. Grapefruit, pine, orange and mango.

The smell wasn't misleading! Huge mango, orange, pineapple, pine, pepper and mild sweet bread. So yeah- lots of fruity hop flavor. And my description doesn't do it justice. This goes down much smoother than you may expect for over 9% abv.

Oily, slick medium body with appropriately crisp carbonation. Dry, bittersweet orangey pine finish.

Wow. I'm mighty glad the Enjoy By series finally found it's way to Georgia. It's a damn fine hop explosion that I would happily drink any time.

Pours pale clear orange with scant head. Stays as a ring. No lace. April 2013 version

Big grapefruit aroma, even with your nose away from the glass. Nice toasted malt notes as well.

Toasted malt, alcohol, big citric hop notes. A very bright beer. As the flavors clear on the palate, you get a bit of an alcoholic burn on the tongue. Nice balance of hop and malt on the finish. Some pucker and astringency.

Medium to fuller bodied. Funny, a little hot. As much as you want this one fresh, I wonder if another month or 2 would calm this down.

Overall, really nice beer. Brilliant marketing, even if it puts pressure on your favorite liquor store to push this beer before it obviously past prime.

22oz bottle split and poured into a tulip. Enjoy By 04.01.13.

A: Pours a clear light golden with a dense white head. Fairly slow moving visible carbonation. A spotting of lacing.

S: Instantly hit with a blend of a variety of hops. Spiciness, floral, citrusy, earthy, nuggety smell. Mild malts in the background provide the Stone signature oomph.

T: Very tasty, a complex blend of hops with a fairly decent hop backing. Certainly a bold and bitter beer. Is there alcohol in this? A sweet bready/crackery malt comes through as it warms.

M: Medium body with a nice nectar like quality. Very easy drinking and quite a refreshing brew.

Overall an amazing beer that I am very happy to finally had a chance to try. Certainly very fresh. Quite possibly the best Stone beer and certainly worth the hype.

Poured from a 22oz bomber into a Jester King stemmed glass.

A: Crystal clear pure golden color. Aggressive pour leads to a one-finger fluffy white head that fades slowly and leaves sticky lacing. Columns of bubbles rise continuously.

S: Huge citrisy hop profile. Grapefruit, orange zest, lemon, you name the citrus, it's included. Some resin in the midst of the nose and the malt is crisp and smooth but lets the big time hop profile take center stage.

T: Beautiful hop palate destruction time. Again the citrus hops hit first, the resiny pine hops come through second and the malt bill comes and cleans the stage up but leaves the delicious oils to coat.

M: Crisp, sharp, biting finish. Perfectly carbonated and the hop oils leave a beautiful coating that refuses to let me stop drinking until it's gone.

O: An absolute gem of a beer. I love the concept, I love how hard they work to get it to the stores in such a short period of time and I love this beer.
