A - pours a deep, rich black. Roughly 2 fingers worth of tight brown bubbles on top. Quickly recedes but leaves lots of spotty lacing on the glass.
S - the nose is simple yet imposingly rich. Like a big pot of dark chocolate sauce. The mint sprouts out of the glass as it warms. more of a peppermint. Together it creates an andes mint aroma that is very pleasant.
T - a plesant blend of sweet and bitter chocolate sauce. Along with mild notes of roasted grains. Earthy bitterness in the center which plays nicely with the subtle but building mint flavor. The lively mint flavor is most potent on the backend as well as a touch of alcohol warmth which lingers long after the finish.
M - silky, velvety full body. Medium carbonation just present enough to keep the beer together.
O - great beer for the winter. Not something i would crave constantly but definitely something i would like to have one or twice while the weather is cold. Good stuff.

Motor oil pour, soapy 3 finger head upon aggressive pour, head hung on for a good spell and left some spotty lacing, but a very nice looing Imperial Stout.
Aroma is roasty and chocolaty , no real menthol from the mint detected.
Velvety minty chocolate flavors. The dividing factor on the reviews I read are that the mint did not have enough presence, and I disagree: the mint is well centered in the mix, starting on the first sip with a slight cooling element from the mint that diminished into a nifty blending of the flavors.
Creamy mouthfeel, coats the palate well, 12 oz. is a perfect size to enjoy solo.
Delicious Stout that delivers what the label advertises: like drinking a rich stout brewed with Junior Mints. I really enjoyed this one and recommend it.
