Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a pint glass. Nice 2-finger head appeared, then settled to a wispy film around the edges of the beer. Decent lacing endured. Beer is rusty brown in color with a slight haze.
Smell is malty, bready, and has hints of raisins or dried fruit. Nothing substantial, but better than most pale ales.
Flavor is clean up front with lots of crisp malts and some fruity notes. Not sweet exactly, but not dry either. The swallow brings more bitter notes with some yeast flavors lingering.
Mouthfeel is pleasant. This is full-bodied enough for you to feel its substance without being overbearing. Clean feel throughout with a little effervescence.
This is a drinkable beer. It doesn't have an overwhelming flavor profile that will knock you out, and it goes down smooth enough to put a few back pleasantly.
