On tap at Birch.
A - Dark brown color, nice bubblt head.
S - Aroma of figs, pine, flowers.
T - Sour, slight bitter, very subtle roast. Very mild at first. But gets better as it warms--bitterness increases for the better and less light cream.
M - Huge mouth, creamy.
O - Very different for the style. Easy drinker. Perhaps too light. Not bad but it doesn't blow me away.

At 2014 Most Arrogant Bar Bash (Barleys in Greenvillle,SC)
Pours black and opaque, with a very good head.
Flavor: very floral, a bit 'wild', with Belgian yeast and light and medium roast malts. Medium+ strength. A bit sweet up front; clightly funky and slightly bitter aftertaste.
O: interesting and moderately complex but not my cup of tea.

Bottle dated 2012
Pours opaque dark brown with 1/8 inch of khaki head that settles to a thin ring on top and leaves faint spotty lace.
Smell is somewhat subdued overall and is floral up front with faint dark cherry and bready malt on the finish.
Taste is of piney hops up front with grapefruit and a hint of honey on the back end.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.
This one is hard to categorize. It has a strong hop presence initially with bold malt in the finish. Tart citrus notes and some honey sweetness round it off. A solid effort whatever style you choose to call it.
