A - Gorgeous amber with a white one and a half finger head that slowly dissolved. Heavy lacing on the glass. 4.5
S - Fruity, hoppy aroma with a hint of banana, and pine resin. Very pleasant. 4.0
T - Extremely well-balanced. Strong citrus and resin flavors that are slightly sweet and hoppy supported by a malty aftertaste. The bitterness one would expect from an IPA is just the right amount for me. 4.5
M - Smooth and medium-bodied. Not too carbonated and not too thick. 4.0
O - I like Stone's IPA for its hoppy, pine character. It's much more true to my vision of an IPA than others I have tried. That being said though, I think I still prefer Bell's Two Hearted Ale to the Stone IPA in terms of flavor. Nevertheless, this is an excellent IPA that people should definitely give a chance. 4.5
