A - Beautiful dark, reddish brown color, with an inch-thick beige head with decent retention. Minimal lacing.
S - Toasted malts and spicy hops mix in an appropriately oaky character. Alcohol present in the aroma.
T - Toasted grains with citrus and spice notes that leaves a woody aftertaste. The oak brings things together nicely. Dry, thanks to the mix of oak and hops, with an alcohol kick.
M - Fairly smooth, all things considered.
O - Not all that different from the original Arrogant Bastard Ale, but still a welcome development with something to offer.
