A - True definition of exceptional. Great head that retains some of its head throughout the pint. Lacing was also exceptional. A very attractive beer.
S - little bland but still good. A sweet malt smell where a good level of hops was also present.
T - Good ale, it was pleasant drink but the whole time I was trying to figure out the style. A definate hybrid
M - heavier than I thought. As you swallow the tastes develop greatly.
D - Surprisingly drinkable for the abv but by no means a session beer and one that I would not mind revisiting but I like others more.

A-Dark amber/copper color. Very clear. A light brown head that dissipates leaving a bit of lacing.
S- Pine, roasted malts, pine, caramel, and pine. Did I say pine?
T- Piney hops and bitter. This gives way to/is balanced by some roasted malts.
M- Medium with a decent amount of carbonation. Very smooth going down.
O- Finally tried this classic. Glad I did. If you like a hoppy/bitter ale this one is for you.
