** Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a tulip glass at 50 degrees (refrigerated).
Pours a dark brown-copper color with two-fingers thick of pinkish/tan head that seems to not want to go away. Very nice feature.
Aroma is slightly earth hoppy with a caramel aroma along for the ride. A lot of yeast hits my nose actually after smelling multiple times. Very nice nose.
Sipping reveals a rather malty flavor. Some caramel flavors come through along with a fruit flavor maybe of plum from what i can gather. A slight biscuit flavor comes through as well on the swallow with a slightly boozy aftertaste. Very very nice. Afterflavors is rather hoppy honestly...interesting!
Well-balanced carbonated body with a slightly chewy body. Drying finish with solid flavors throughout the experience (up front through the swallow and aftertaste).
Too yummy for words! Very drinkable in flavor and feel, but scarily boozy to end an evening early. Be very very careful with this one! Cheers.
