Bomber into pint glass.
A: Dark red/brown. Thick, dense off-white head that doesn't go away.
S: Citrus and pine from hops. Caramel, red/brown ale malts.
T/M: Aggressive hop bitterness. Grapefruit-like citric and resiny/pine notes in the middle fading to just bitter in the finish. Malt profile is pretty typical red/brown ale and definitely not the focus. It supports the complex hop bitterness. There is a slight sweetness up front, with toasty notes in the middle, but it doesn't come anywhere near balancing out that bitterness.
D: Surprisingly drinkable...though can have the effect of turning the drinker into an arrogant bastard if overdone.
