22oz bottle with an "Enjoy By 2/2/14" date code. Seems fresh.
A: Nice two finger head that settles and doesn't look like it's going anywhere. Nice lacing. Beautiful filtered amber body with a tan head.
S: Caramel covered hops. Bread, bisuit, sweetness. Grapefruit and citrus.
T: Caramel sweetness with a bitter grapefruit hop bite at the back end. Haven't had this in a while but wow this isn't how I remember it tasting. This is delicious.
M: For the style it has nice carbonation. I like how it feels more like an IPA than a barleywine. Makes me want to take another sip.
O: I now understand why this is a classic. I really want to re-try the Oaked version. Would definitely drink again, especially for the price.
