22oz bomber poured into a pint glass.
A- Pours a beautiful three finger off white khaki head that sticks around. The lacing is fantastic all the way down. Brew itself is a dark mahogony with red highlights. Visible stream of carbonation.
S- Caramel dominates. Notes of dark chocolate and dark fruits. Lightly citric hoppiness brings it all together wonderfully.
T- Starts sweet and chewy, finishes nice and dry with some hoppy bitterness. Caramel still dominates the flavor on my palate with dark fruits and dark bread in the back. Light grapefruit twang in the finish.
M- Creamy and lush. Full bodied, good carbonation. No evidence of the 7%+ abv at all.
O- Very balanced and drinkable. Excellent beer for the price, I still prefer the oaked version though.
