A - Pours a very dark amber or mahogany color with a thick, rocky head with medium retention and visible carbonation. Head becomes less rocky and more creamy/foamy as it recedes to slightly under a finger thick. (4)
S - Grainy hops with very mild floral notes and a solid malt backing. Generally, not a very strong nose. (3.5)
T - Citrusy hops attack upfront releasing a good amount of bitterness; sweet, caramel-backed malts show up in the middle along with light roasty notes. The hop aromas and bitterness return and lingers on in the finish. (4)
M - About medium bodied thickness with a very light carbonation bite; slightly chewy, perhaps, and with a watery foamy smoothness as it goes down. (4)
D - A pretty approchable beer that's fairly easy drinking, smooth and with the alcohol pretty well masked. Definitely something pretty sessionable for the American craft beer lover. (4.5)
