A - Pours a wonderfully bright brown amber with 3 finger fluffy tan head. Excellent retention and lacing
S - Powerful aroma. Slight spice that is even on the malts. Lots of caramel and toffee
T - powerful flavor as well. Good spiciness to it balanced by sweet malts. It even has a pine sap finish
M - Feels dry in the mouth. Quite heavy beer with a nice burn to it
O - Awesome beer. Great flavor and aromas. Gonna go get this one again

This bastard isn't as arrogant as he could be. I mean, if I was a strong arrogant ale, I'd probably make sure people could smell me from across the room.
Look: medium maple/amber. Medium head with not much retention and a good amount of lacing.
Smell: Not much aroma. VERY...VERY faint grapefruit perhaps.
Taste: I really enjoy the taste of this bastard. It's just a great medium-colored strong ale. A nice alternative to lighter IPA's. And it warms quite nicely.
As with most of the standard Stone offerings, this can be found just about anywhere. It's inexpensive and I always enjoy it. The ABV is ~7.2 but it sure as hell seems to hit harder than that!
And just maybe the lack of fragrant hoppiness is a good thing....I'm not quite sure.
