Pour from the bomber is a nice pale orange yellow. Thick off white head, 1/4 finger, lingering for a while.
Nose is nice a bright with some lemon and citrus. Little bite of hops. Not really noting the coconut yet.
Taste is typical big IPA. Lots of grapefruity citrus up front, maybe a little more biting and tart than I'm used to. Follows with solid big hops. Fairly dry. They do have a little onion/garlic feel to them. Still not really feeling the coconut. Just doesn't seem super present. Little too sharp and biting on the finish overall
Feel is a medium thick, with a little bit of creaminess. Maybe there is the coconut?
A nice IPA. Marketing may make this out to be more than it is, which is just a decent IPA. Not epic. certainly not stone's best. Gonna watch for the coconut as it warms.
So after warming with time, definitely do get a little toasted coconut on the finish. Kinda nice. However, totally off set by the horrid briney, moldy nose that develops, and feeds into a rather gross sinewy flavor. Drink it cold or suffer.

Pour is transparent t golden Amber with a tight creamy head. Nose is aggressively bitter, citrus and grapefruit with some bready malt. Taste follows suit, a little less bitter and sweet, cleaner hop profile. Medium body and assertive carb, dry finish.

Appearance - a cloudy pour, a thick finger of dense, rocky foam. Lots of stick and lace, mmmm.
Aroma - grapefruit juice, slightly piny and some light orange. A hint of biscuity malt in the background.
Taste - malty underpinning, brief sweetness quickly washed away by pithy bitterness. Mango and grapefruit in the exhale breath, a challenge to pick out with the loads of bitterness in play. Green earthy notes mid-palate has me wondering if that is the coconut. The aftertaste and finish go a bit too medicinal for my tastes, but some lingering citrus notes offset it a little. Ends dry, a bit harsh, and at no time was I aware of any typical coconut flavor. Still, a hefty IPA worth a go for hopheads who like paying $7+ a bottle.
Mouthfeel - good and weighty, very fluffy with carbonation, fairly ideal for the style as IPAs should refresh and perk up the palate as the hops scrape 'er down.
Overall - with a more malty presence and some detectable coconut, this could be on my short list but I was disappointed on this one.
