Pours a lightly hazy golden to orange in color with a 2 finger thick off white head that leaves thick lacing. the head becomes chunky as it recedes.
Rich aroma with ripe citrus and other tropical fruit. A bit of caramel, pineapple and the occasional hint of coconut.
Taste is typical Stone--Waaay hoppy, but with a substantial sweet caramelly malt backbone. Piney, herbal, and bitter hops. Coconut on occasion, but it's fleeting.
Medium thick in body with an initial bite of carbonation that becomes smoother as you go. Heartburn make me think this beer is a bit green yet.
An excellent beer. I would buy this again, but would hold it for a couple of weeks. It's a bit harsh in the throat and could use a little time to smooth out.
