A- Very transparent, deep golden colored body with a foamy white head. Some carbonation bubbles rise to the top of the body, making the head appear somewhat bubbly.
S- Some tropical fruit notes, pineapple, mango, maybe a dash of coconut, some grapefruit and citrus comes through too. Nothing overwhelming, but does offer a nice tropical nose.
T- Very nice tropical hop flavors, with the grapefruit, mango and pineapple all noticeable. The coconut does not stand out, but I do get hints of a piña-colada type flavor.
M- Medium bodied, medium carbonation, somewhat sticky, resinous feel to it.
O- As an IPA, this is another great offering by Stone; they just continue to make fantastic IPAs that differ in flavor profile. As a coconut IPA, it is somewhat subtle. I do get piña-colada hints, but it's not very coconut-forward. Glad I bought two bottles though, this one is good.
