Enjoy by 10/17/2013. 22 oz bomber into a teku glass.
A - Pours a crystal clear golden body similar to that of Enjoy By or RuinTen. Two fingers worth of white foam slowly creeps away leaving behind ridiculous amounts of whispy lacing and some solid retention. Swirling it just starts the process all over again.
S - Bubble gum, peaches, honey, earthy spices and hibiscus are intermixed with some notes of grass and pine. Light bready dough on the finish. Really soft and fresh smelling. This is really different and super aromatic. If this were a Yankee Candle I would name it "Fresh German Countryside Summer Laundry"....or something....
T - Shares the soft bubblegum/honey/stonefruit trifecta found in the nose but it finishes with dank resinous piney hops with a pretty considerable level of bitterness. The very end showcases some bready malts and grass/hibiscus but the bitterness is pretty intense. Mouth feel is slick and coating, well carbonated. Alcohol gets more noticeable as it warms.
O - A really different beer. I was expecting an imperial pilsner or something but instead its a floral/stonefruit heavy amped up European IPA. Just wished the hops were turned down slightly to better showcase the "German" flavors.
