Poured a honey, orange, semi-hazy color with three fingers of frothy off-white head. Lots of foamy layered lacing on the sides of the glass. Good retention all the way down.
Smelled wet cascade hops, pine, soap, bitterness, grapefruit rind, citrus spicy hops, pepper, slight cigarette and light floral hops. Tough to find overall though.
Tasted wet cascade hops, pine, soap, very bitter, buttery notes, grapefruit rind, bitter grapefruit, citrus hops and some floral notes.
Light-to-medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, bitter finish.
I was pretty disappointed with this beer overall. I probably even overrated this one.
