Grapefruit, grapefruit EVERYWHERE! As you should probably expect, if you don't like grapefruit, and especially if you don't like grapefruit juice, this is probably not your beer. This beer is at its core a terrific IPA. It looks crisp and pure and clean like an IPA should and has huge, resiny hops on the nose and pallate. It's not overly sweet, and not overly sticky, making it drinkable and refreshing. Now add to that foundation a grapefruit bonanza. The nose smells like a fresh cut fruit served for breakfast. Bitter and sour citrus dominate the flavor, and lingers long after.
Overall, as someone who loves grapefruit, this is terrific. Bitter and sour, subtly sweet, hoppy and refreshing. I love it, and I hope to see it around for a long time.

As would be appropriate, this has a pink grapefruit color with a cloudy fresh squeezed hue. The head was fizzy and white but held its shape well.
The nose has tremendous grapefruit qualities but it's a combination of juice, pith and hop.
The flavor starts with a nice grapefruit juice and grapefruit hop flavor but the finish is a deeply herbal hop flavor. The hop flavors near the end remind me of so many Stone products with an earthy, grassy, chivey and dank quality.
The feel is quite tangy and light but does have a strong astringency.
This tastes like an IPA made by Stone with grapefruit juice, which is exactly what it is.
