Cheers to Goblinmunkey7 for sharing this beer

Appearance: Crystal clear copper orange - pours with a medium sized, white head - fades to a wispy cap, leaves some serious streaks of lacing

Smell: Multiple dimensions of grapefruit - nicely hoppy, with some big citrus - grapefruit flesh, oil, and pith, in a hoppy way, as well as in a literal grapefruit way - touch of pine, but mostly citrus, with an emphasis on grapefruit - some pale malts, light sweetness

Taste: Grapefruit, with more grapefruit - hoppy citrus with some nice orange and grapefruit in addition to the massive amount of grapefruit flesh, oil, and pith - potent grapefruit peels - so, so much grapefruit - touch of pine - some pale malts - very , very bitter thanks to the grapefruit assault

Mouthfeel: Medium body, oily, finishes with grapefruit oil

Overall: Grapefruit slamming is illegal in some states

Some beers have a hop profile that features extremely potent grapefruit. This takes things to the next level. it's pretty ridiculous, but definitely interesting.

22 oz bottle. Pours clear golden orange with a medium creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sugary bready malts and tropical fruit / grapefruit.

The flavor is a little sweet fruity bready malt followed by a pretty big resiny bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with light carbonation.

Overall, a nice IPA, but not as good as I thought it sounded.

Bottle share at Proof done side-by-side with Proof's Guru IPA blended with Apollo aged on grapefruit. Pale straw in color with very little head. Big grapefruit and orange citrus with some tropical fruit in the aroma. Taste is spicy/citrus combo with a fair malt backbone. High carbonation (despite little head) and medium body. I enjoyed the Proof considerably more.

22oz brown bomber with a freshness date.

Stunningly tight and sticky lacing on top of this hazed out pale amber brew. Big bag of smashed grapefruits rush the nostrils, hints of alcohol and hops within. My palate is simply being abused by the onslaught of grapefruit and hops, the alcohol is clean and quite warming. Some light bready tones underneath but the finish is just more lingering grapefruit and hops.

Slam? This is a Smackdown, thanks Stone for this one and keeping things fun.
