22oz bomber poured into a snifter. Bottled on 01/XX/14 (scratched slightly and can't see the full date.
A- Typical Stone IPA look to it. A nice clear orange color with a small amount of off-white head which quickly fades.
S- Citrus and pine on the aroma, as expected. The orange and grapefruit aromas shine through more so than anything else.
T- Starts off with heavy notes of piney resin. The notes of grapefruit are there but not as prevalent as you would expect. Caramel malts at the back end.
M- Medium bodied, well carbonated, refreshing and easy drinking, dry finish.
Nice IPA from Stone, more on the verge of DIPA in my opinion.

As would be appropriate, this has a pink grapefruit color with a cloudy fresh squeezed hue. The head was fizzy and white but held its shape well.
The nose has tremendous grapefruit qualities but it's a combination of juice, pith and hop.
The flavor starts with a nice grapefruit juice and grapefruit hop flavor but the finish is a deeply herbal hop flavor. The hop flavors near the end remind me of so many Stone products with an earthy, grassy, chivey and dank quality.
The feel is quite tangy and light but does have a strong astringency.
This tastes like an IPA made by Stone with grapefruit juice, which is exactly what it is.
