2013 vintage, 22oz bottle.
A: Dark cola black with a couple fingers of light khaki head. Nice tight bubbles with some good lacing.
S: Mostly chocolate, but there are some lingering herbal/earthiness and honey/sweet notes.
T: The floral flavors are mostly on the finish, with chocolate and honey dominating the front end. The floral flavors come through to the front more as the beer warms.
M: Goes down very easy for nearly 10% ABV, there is a very slight burn on the aftertaste, but hardly noticable. Carbonation and thickness are standard for an imperial porter.
O: Very nice beer, the chocolate and honey seemed like they would mesh well, but the floral notes mixed in nicely with the roasted malt character of the porter.

A- Pours a nice inky black, with noticeable bubbles up the sides. Decent head, light lacing on the sides and a light coating over the top 10m later.
S- Very soft at this point, roasted malts, dark chocolates, I cant smell much flowers/jasmine/honey in the glass, but Im defiantly picking it up from the bottle, everything smells pretty good.
T- The roasted malts and chocolates up front as a porter should be, next you get the sweeter side probably the honey and finishes with a slightly bitter dry feeling. Again pretty good.
M- medium to full body, has a decent thick, chewy feeling while still retaining a slippery smoothness over the tongue.
O- When I first opend it I had a hard time picking up the smell, maybe cause its been cellaring since I got it last year. After it aired out some, everything came togather nicely. The carbonation wasn't noticeable while drinking. They did a really good job with this, glad i have 3 more downstairs.
