Bottled 3/15/14; drank 12/28/14 @ the Yarchives.
Brown/black hue with an orange tint.
Dark tan head; strong lace.
Brown sugar, cinnamon & root beer nose.
Medium thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Clove, sarsaparilla & all-spice flavors up front; cinnamon & brandy notes emerged as this warmed. A nicely spiced winter warmer.

12 oz. bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Deep amber. Medium off-white head. Thin collar.
Smell - Brandy. Kinda fruity. Molasses.
Taste - Molasses is still strong. Oak dominates more than the brandy flavor, but it has a bit of a fruity flavor. Wood and molasses in the back end.
Mouthfeel - Medium body, maybe medium heavy. Medium low carbonation.
Overall - Pretty good. I don't remember regular 4Elf. The molasses is a nice flavor.
