Pours a large, foamy head, very froth-like in texture and appearance. Smell has the characteristics of sour grape skins, with a vague scent of raspberries in the background.
Taste is quite a bit lighter than I thought it would be. It has the consistency of an average lager, with hints of raspberry. And while that's no reason to throw the bottle out, it's not particularly a very good reason to choose this beer over other ones of the same category, such as say, Founder's Rubaeus. It's premise is fine and good, but the delivery just isn't there.
My advise: while this is not a bad beer, there are much better options to look into than this one.
