A - Pours an inch off-white head into a large tulip glass. For how strong the beer is, I wasn't expecting lacing, but there is a little bit of a ring of lace when it all settles. The beer itself looks thick and is somewhat opaque. It is dark copper in color with a good bit of red mixed in.
S - The nose is pretty well balanced when it comes to malts and hops. There is some citrus, plum, and caramel present. A nice aroma.
M - Full in body, but not quite as syrupy as I expected from the appearance. Light-medium carbonation.
T - The most noticeable thing when taking a sip is the lack of alcohol in the taste. At almost 14% I was expecting a pretty big alcohol sting, but it's hidden incredibly well. A tiny burst of ctruus up front followed by some dark fruit and caramel malts. It finishes with a pretty mild grape fruit flavor.
A pretty atypical DIPA, but I love it! Not a hop bomb in the sens of bitterness, it's got a lot of hops, it's just balanced by the large amounts of malt. I bought a 4 pack and plan on aging 2 of them for future consumption.

Appearance is a amber red color with a one finger white head that faded fast.
Aroma is bready, malty, sweet honey. Faint pine.
Taste is sticky sweet, malty and bready flavors that are well balanced.
Mouthfeel is medium to full with a perfect bitterness.
This is a great example of a high high abv ipa.
Reminds me a lot of gorillanaught. I'm impressed.
Would love to drink this again!
