Reviewed on 9/28/09 with Speedwayjim at Capone's served out of a pint glass.
Appearance cloudy wheat/orange with 1 finger of frothy white head.
Smell: Piney/citrus hops.
Taste: opens with a brief grapefruit and a sudden change to bitter hops which last till the very end but lightens in intensity to allow a brief grapefruit and malty finish leaving a citrus/ piney bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: light to medium bodied, smooth with minimal carbonation.
Drinkability: I would definitely have this again and I would recommend this to someone who likes a hoppy ipa with hints of citrus and pine.
Serving type: on-tap

Appearance is a amber red color with a one finger white head that faded fast.
Aroma is bready, malty, sweet honey. Faint pine.
Taste is sticky sweet, malty and bready flavors that are well balanced.
Mouthfeel is medium to full with a perfect bitterness.
This is a great example of a high high abv ipa.
Reminds me a lot of gorillanaught. I'm impressed.
Would love to drink this again!
