A rust color. Foamy white head. Murky.
S little light on the smell for me. Had to search for it. What is there is floral bouquet.sweet Perfume almost
T very sweet. Malt balanced well with hops. I'd say slightly maltier than hoppy. But def plenty of hops. Mild orange flavor. Lots of flavor though
M thick but carbonation keeps it from being too syrupy. Pushes quickly to the back of the tongue. Slight bitter coating the back of the throat lingering. Not overpowering
O not an overpowering dipa. Great balance. Plenty of flavor. Couldn't give more than slightly above average for smell simply cause I've had some divas that knock me off my feet smell wise. Otherwise everything else is great. Big fan of the flavor. Keeps u interested all the way through

A- hazy orangish brown with white head that fades to a flat ring around the glass.

S- citrus, tropical fruit. Slight caramel and biscuit smell. Not as powerful as when I had it fresh earlier this year.

T- smooth slightly fruity, like orange and peach, then some pine and the malt balances out nicely. No alcohol burn for being almost 14%.

M- medium body with a lighter carbonation.

O- I really like this beer a lot. One of my favorite dipas. I even enjoyed it more when I had it fresh. I can't get over how smooth it is and how there is such a small amount of alcohol burn for being such a big beer.

A: great clear reddish, gold color with a small amount of nice white head and light to medium lacing throughtout.

S: Orange, hoppy smell. This smell is heaven to my nostrils. Has a great citrus hop smell with a hint of grassy smell.

T: Initial taste of grassy type hops followed by a huge kick of citrus hops and the finish is a piney hops bitterness that lingers in your mouth for quite awhile.

M: Medium, crisp, bitter, lingering mouthfeel.

O: OVerall, GREAT beer. One of my top tens!

12oz bottle from zchall23, thanks Brian!

Hazy, dark orange, amber elixir poured into SA glass. Turbid, not much light penetrates. One finger off white head lingers until first sip.

This one has some age on it, as I get some very nice caramel, toffee, sweet fruit (mango, tangerine). A whiff of pine, mild.
Not much in the way of hops.

Some hop resin, apricot, malt biscuit, mild bitterness throughout.

Medium body, carbonation waning. Syrupy. Expected some alcohol heat, but it's nonexistent.

So here's the scoop. I was warned that this brew will be more like a barleywine with some age. I expected it and enjoyed it for what it has become and it has been rated with this foreknowledge. However, if you expect a nice, aggressive DIPA get it fresh. It is actually nice to know that you can age this and enjoy the changing characteristics if you so happen to swing that way.
