Poured into my standard pint glass.
A - Delivers a great big creamy light tan head on the pour. Very nice rich, clear dark maroon/mahogany with ruby highlights. No lacing whatsoever.
S - Dark fruits, dark cherries, the faintest hint of vanilla, and a hint of alcohol. Then lots a lots of caramel malts.
T - Tasty, but not very complex. Dark fuits, toasty caramel, slight smokey notes. A bit milky? Not much alcohol in the taste.
M - Feels undercarbonated to me. Very, very smooth, but a bit thin.
D - This was nice to try, but I won't seek it out. I generally like Dark Horse, but this wasn't one of their best brews. Alltogether this was decent enough.
