Enjoyed this brew at River City Drafthouse on tap in Louisville, KY in a HUGE 16oz tulip glass. Ya, this put me on my ace.
A - Jet Black, excellent mocha color head- finger width. Great Lacing- stays at the high water mark.
S - Roast and Chocolate malt.
T - Very pleasant. Chocolate, roast, small amounts of smoke. initially moderately sweet. goes down moderately bitter. Hop level is very low.
M - froth level is low. viscosity is high. coats mouth well.
O - Really nice stout. Looks amazing. Only thing i was disappointed with was the mouthfeel. Missing that super creamy, velvety feel. But that seems like thats a big deal in the stout game. any rate, not a deal breaker in this brew.
Serving type: on-tap
