Appearance: Pours a golden orange color with a thick light tan head fades to a frothy cap and heavy lacing.
Smell: beautiful citrus and biscuity malt flavors and a nip of grapefruit.
Taste: Caramelized malty sweetness stand out from my SA Boston Lager glass. It is Toasty and sweet but with big fresh hops to balance. Grapefruit and pineapple, floral grassy bitter with just a touch of pine. This IPA is certainly on the sweet and malty side with enough pleasant bitter. I like that.
Mouthfeel: Malty and rich with a substantial body and active tight carbonation. Very nice.
Drinkability: Perfect. This beer is for the hop fan who likes it malty not the hop head who wants the burn. That said I found it a very easy drinker.
Hope this is helpful.
