Pours a shimmering copper color. Looks slick and highly carbonated. Not a fan of the look.
Smells strongly of grapefruit with bits of pineapple as well. Almost one dimensional with very little malt appearing in the nose. Still smells awful nice though.
Taste follows nose closely. Lots of grapefruit, small bit of pine. Little malt sweetness. Feels slick on the tongue. Pretty easy to drink.

huge head. foamy and white.
typical IPA aromas, but nothing stand-out. kind of a bland smell to the brew....
a little sweet on the tongue at first, then some caramel malt, and the slight hop bitterness hits as it drains.... very good taste with some sweetness.
overall, very good. another new Midwest brew for me. lots of taste (as opposed to the west coast bitter) but starting to see a definite trend... maybe that's why the west coast began doing bitter....?
